    The Reaxys PhD Prize is awarded for original and innovative research in organic, organometallic and inorganic chemistry, which demonstrates excellence in methodology and approach, by a candidate currently studying for a PhD or having completed a PhD after January 1, 2014.

  • Physics Faculty library closed for renovations

    Physics Faculty library closed for renovations

    As of Sunday, November 23rd the Physics Faculty library (located on the second floor of the Benoziyo Physics building) will be closed for renovations.
    During the renovations period, planned to last till June 2015, the physics library print books collection and the Science Teaching collection will be housed in the Mathematics library.

    During the renovations period, there will be no access to the physics library collection of print journals. However, should an electronic version of a publication not be available, a pdf form of the requested article will be ordered for you through the mathematics library.

    The Mathematic library librarian Dr. Yifat Belous will be happy to answer all your questions and assist all the readers at the Mathematics library.

The Weizmann Institute Library strives to create a dynamic information environment that fosters research, learning and innovation. The library’s goals are:

  • Provide services and tools that support research, education and discovery.

The Weizmann Institute Library System consists of the Central Library, three Faculty libraries, and the Weizmann Institute Archives.

The Central Library serves as the headquarters, managing and coordinating all library activities and services . It also holds special collections such as: History of Science, Haber’s collection, Land of Israel, the Einstein’s reprints collection and Prof. Ephraim Katzir's collection.

Faculty libraries contain books and periodicals on the relevant disciplines and provide Library Services to the scientific faculties, students and staff.
