The Frueh lab in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry is offering a post-doctoral position to investigate enzymatic assembly lines with nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) with a flexible starting date in early 2017. The candidate should have graduated in or after 2014.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship position at the Center for Biomedical Imaging (CBI) at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of researchers and physicians on an NIH-funded project on the study of traumatic brain injury (TBI) with sodium (23Na) MRI and proton MR spectroscopy (1H MRS). The overarching goal of the research is to provide new markers for neurodegeneration which can predict patients’ long-term clinical outcome.

A 2-year post-doctoral position funded by the EpiGenMed Labex program is available to work in the “Highly Flexible Proteins” group lead by Pau Bernadó at the Centre de Biochime Structurale (CBS) in Montpellier (France).

A Marie Skłodowska-Curie funded PhD position is available in the NMR group at the Pasteur Institute of Paris. The project focuses on the role of multi-domain scaffolding proteins in the auditory transduction machinery. A postdoctoral position is available at CSI-CUNY in Prof. Ming Tang’s lab starting in December 2016. The project is to investigate the function-modulating interactions between proteins and membrane components by solving structures of membrane-associated protein complexes and aggregates. CSI NMR facility has a 600MHz solution instrument with a cryoprobe and a newly installed 1.6mm fast magic-angle spinning solid-state NMR probe, and the personnel also have access to the wide range of solution and solid spectrometers at the New York Structural Biology Center.

The Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy (AMRIS) Facility at UF seeks an MR imaging and spectroscopy scientist for the permanent research staff position of Core Research Facility Manager/Director for ≥ 11.74 Tesla vertical bore NMR/MRI instrumentation. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D., or equivalent, in Physical Sciences or Engineering, with a demonstrated experience and expertise in techniques and applications of high field MR imaging and spectroscopy. Previous experience in pulse sequence design and implementation as well as data processing is needed.
